This page collects notices of new recycling ventures that I predict will crash and fail before achieving any valuable product. And also a few other Hail Mary ventures. Every week in the pages of C&E News that I rely on for these announcements, there are two or three more, often reporting amazing funding. I will try to monitor the later announcements of their abandonment, despite the funding, though that is not always reported. The recycling ventures are worth the investment even if the money is lost, because these keep regulation away from the manufacturers and on the shoulders of end users. The Carbon Capture and Sequestering reports are doubly worth financial loss, because they allow fossil fuels to continue to be burned for billions in profits.
